The Virgo Zodiac Sign
In Astrology the sun sign Virgo is a zodiac sign that corresponds to people born between August 23 and September 22. The planet Mercury rules Virgos. Virgo is also one of the four mutable signs. Mutable signs tend to be very giving and very intelligent. Since Virgos are highly docile, they tend to be indecisive, frequently changing their minds at the drop of a hat. Virgos are also very transformable, quickly adapting to new surroundings. New environments are so exciting to Virgos that they immediately familiarize themselves with the present, and too often forget the past.
Virgo has the zodiac number five. The number five represents bravery, courage, spirit, creativity, and a desire to make the most out of life. Deterioration in health will then negatively affect a Virgo's self-perception. It will seem at times, that a Virgo is caught in a downward spiral, created by their refusal to come out of their shell and really see what's before them when looking in a mirror. Despite some of these negative traits, Virgos make trustworthy, dependable, and faithful lovers. However, in order for this to happen the caterpillar-like Virgo needs to undergo a metamorphosis into a beautiful, radiant butterfly exuding confidence.
